1980-82 Student of Fine Arts at the Academy of Arts Escuela de Artes Plásticas at the Universidad Católica del Perú

1984-89 Student of Fine Arts at the University of the Arts in Berlin; student in the master class of Professor Horst Hödicke.

In addition to her work as an artist, Ms Kecskemethy managed various art projects. She has presented her works in a large number of single- and group exhibitions, for example in Berlin and in Lima.
