From June 3 to 6, 2021, the competitions in triathlon, modern pentathlon and archery and para-archery took place in the Olympic Park Berlin as part of the "Finals 2021 Berlin | Rhein-Ruhr". Once again, three Buddy Bears were present, giving "weight" to the competitions as well as the award ceremonies in the finals stadium.
For the first time, "The Finals" were held in a total of 18 sports on four days simultaneously in Berlin and the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region. The German Championships in Athletics also took place in this setting, but in Braunschweig, Lower Saxony.
