United Buddy Bears in New Delhi
24th Exhibition
From 27th March to 06th May 2012 the exhibition of the United Buddy Bears took place as part of the theme year known as “Germany und India 2011-2012 – Infinite Opportunities”. 143 Bears are presented at the Central Park, Connaught Place in New Delhi.
It was the highlight during 15 months of celebrations marking 60 years of diplomatic relations between Germany and India – and the start of the Berlin Days in India.'

The Opening
On 27th March 2012, the Honourable Mrs. Sheila Dikshit (Chief Minister, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi), Mr. Klaus Wowereit (Governing Mayor of Berlin) launched the exhibition at the Central Park, Connaught Place together with Eva and Klaus Herlitz (the initiators oft he project).
Especially arrived from Berlin the European-wide popular Marching Band Beat'n Blow joined the opening with their unique mixture out of Jazz, Funk, HipHop and World Styles.

Following in the footsteps of Shah Rukh Khan with beberlin
In 2010, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan came to Berlin to shoot “DON 2 – The King is back”. He wrote into the Golden Book of Berlin: “Thank you for making us feel so welcome here. I love Berlin like a second home!“
During the United Buddy Bears exhibition in New Delhi, Berlin fans among the visitors have the opportunity to take part in a competition suggesting a triad and to win a one-week trip to Berlin, exploring the German capital, following in the footsteps of Shah Rukh Khan.
Conditions of entry: Just complete the postcard to enter the competition and drop it into the dedicated postbox at the exhibition site. The prize will be awarded for the most original triad completing be ……. be……. be berlin.
Paying out the corresponding value of the prize in cash is not possible.
