Studied at the Graphics Department at the National Art Academy in Jerewan, Armenia.

Currently Guest in the Association "Friends of Art in Berlin" in addition to studying Art History at the Free University of Berlin.

Interpretation

The rocky chain of mountains, shown as being typical of Armenia's landscape, reaches into the sky; its organic continuation appears as a fragment of the old Armenian temple "Zwartnoz".

The power of the stone mountain symbolizes the independence of the old Armenian people, which preserved its culture despite a whole history of adversity.

A sense of the mood in Armenia ís evoked through the colour scheme.
