Interpretation

Concept behind the design of the bear: to use the colours of the Irish flag - green, white and orange; the tradition and the wish that it symbolises, the wish to form these differently coloured strands into one continuous thread, that of Irish culture. Then, to wrap the bear in this knotted thread so that it forms a coat for the wearer.
