Since their wedding in 2004 the artists Murat and Cansu Ökmen work on several exhibitions in Berlin.

Interpretation

Our bear is a symbol of the beauty and diversity of our country.

We developed a special dunting technique to give the bear an antique and oriental appearance. The aim of our technique is to charm the visitors and to provide an incentive to touch the bear.

The various colour combinations, motifs and symbols on the bear represent the long and rich history of Turkey.

With our marriage in 2005, we have united our love and our artistic knowledge. We have infused the bear with both – together with our love for art.
