Interpretation

For the foundation of my work of art I have chosen the national colours of Romania, red-yellow-blue. Everything based upon them. Each colour represents a special aspect of our country. Red stands for the blood which was shed in numerous battles. The yellow colour symbolises the rich harvest of the fertile ground. And finally the blue colour reminds us of the fulgent blue and cloudless sky. All times Romania was a pacific country, open-minded towards foreign people and cultures and it still is.
