1983 Student at the Academy of Arts for Theatre and Cinema in Moscow

Author of scenographies for 54 performances at the Academic Opera and the Ballett Theatre, the State Puppet Theatre and the Tajik Comedy Theatre. Director of three feature films and 2 animation films produced by the film studio CINAMO in Duschanbe. Exhibitions in Duschanbe, Moscow, St. Petersburg.

Since 1997 - free-lance artist in Paris: Designer for private castles, restaurants and exhibitions, author of trick film animations.

Interpretation

I've got my Armenian name from my grandfather Samson, whose pipe has been kept in our family as a valuable relic. In order to be able to decipher the faded inscription of the pipe's mouthpiece I started learning the Armenian alphabet when still very young. Now this inscription is written on my bear's chest: "HAJASTAN" (Armenia), composed from capital letters taken from old Armenian manuscripts.
