The Jewrovision, based on the Eurovision Song Contest, is a Jewish singing and dancing competition. All Jewish youth centers in Germany can participate. This year the Jewrovision took place in Frankfurt after a two year Corona break. Buddy Bear Berlin is proud to give a face to the poster and flyer of the Jewrovision. The Jewrovision, hosted by the Central Council of Jews, celebrates Jewish life in Germany. The silhouette of the Buddy Bear on the poster represents a tolerant Germany, where there is room for all religions and cultures. The motto of this Jewrovision was "The Show must go on", because after the Corona break the joy of life music, encounters, dancing and performing was great. Inspired by thoughts like "Don't hide - Now more than ever" and "It's my life - I have my life in my own hands" the Jewish youths performed. According to the organizers, the Jewish community is also characterized by the attitude of facing difficulties with humor and a positive attitude. This attitude towards life is also embodied by the Buddy Bear, with his joyfully raised arms.
