How can we live, eat and work more sustainably? And which products make this possible? Young companies for which ecology and sustainability are not just a duty, but part of the corporate philosophy. The Green Buddy Award aims to honor such companies. For the 11th time, the Berlin Environmental Award was presented on June 2, 2022 by the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district and the Economic Development Agency. We donated our green Buddy Bears as a trophy for this again.
The evening could finally take place in the beautiful Metropol again in presence. Moderator Boussa Thiam led through the evening, where the award winners in the categories Waste Prevention Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Environmentally Friendly Production / Production-Related Services, Retail Award, Young Green Buddy Award and Smart Cities were chosen.
The Green Buddy Award promotes innovative ideas and motivates ecology and sustainability to move forward. I am pleased that there are so many companies, initiatives and projects in our city and in the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district that are working together to make the city greener and thus more livable. We recognize their commitment to ecology and sustainability with our Green Buddy Award. We congratulate the winners," said district mayor Jörn Oltmann.
