It was presented to the Ukrainian embassy and is intended to act as a sign of hope for Ukraine. The Chief of Protocol of the Berlin Senate, Carolin Freifrau von Buddenbrock, Dr Andreas Kosmider, Dr Luiza Bengtsson, Dr Klaus Herlitz, Viviana Plasil, the Ukrainian Ambassador Oleksii Makeiev and the artist Ute Faber were present at the ceremonial unveiling on 1 December 2023.
