Buddy Bear Event: HAND IN HAND FOR TOLERANCE

Hand-in-Hand for Tolerance News on the Project

Peace begins with tolerance and respect.

The Buddy Bears are at home in the cosmopolitan metropolis of Berlin and, as colorful works of art, have been a constant part of the cityscape since the early 2000s. Around the world, they are perceived as ambassadors for tolerance and international understanding. Now they want to specifically promote peaceful coexistence and respect among the people living in Berlin and at the same time appeal to the many visitors from all over the world.
Therefore, an installation consisting of seven 2m tall Buddy Bear sculptures by the street artist "DYR Wandbrand", Damian Yves Rohde, will be unveiled on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 12 pm on Wittenbergplatz. His design illustrates the joyful togetherness in the city.
The installation "Hand in Hand for Tolerance" can be seen on this prominent square in the center of Berlin until the end of November 2022.
