On September 22, 2021 a new Buddy Bear was unveiled at the Osram-Höfe in Berlin Wedding. The name "Bärlin on the Street" is written on its pedestal. What is it all about?
The Buddy Bear was designed under the artistic direction of Andrej Wolff by young people who had registered for the art workshop following a call from the street workers of Gangway. Gangway is a social street work association that works with teenagers and young adults in Berlin.
We would like to thank the Becker & Kries Family Foundation, which sponsored this Buddy Bear – as well as the one for the project with the Berlin City Mission. A project that opened up horizons and brought people together.
