The sports metropolis celebrates its CHAMPIONS 2024 with a big party: exceptional swimmer Elena Semechin and beach volleyball player Nils Ehlers were awarded the golden CHAMPIONS Bears as Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year 2024 in front of more than 1,800 guests in the Estrel Convention Hall on Saturday [30 November 2024]. The German basketball champions from ALBA Berlin won the women's team award - and Eisbären Berlin had two reasons to celebrate: Berliners voted the German ice hockey champions as the men's team of the year and Serge Aubin as Berlin's coach of the year.
