Our exhibition ‘Hand in Hand for Tolerance’ has been on display at Uber-Platz in Berlin-Friedrichshain since 7 July 2025. The installation consists of seven colourful, individually designed Buddy Bears, which together send a strong signal for tolerance, respect and social cohesion.
The figures were designed by Berlin artist Damian Yves Rohde (DYR Wandbrand), whose vibrant street art aesthetic gives the bears a very special expressiveness. Each work of art tells its own story - together they stand for openness, diversity and peaceful coexistence in an increasingly polarised world.
The exhibition is open to the public and can be visited around the clock.
To accompany the exhibition, there is a special miniature edition of one of the Buddy Bears on display, which is available exclusively at MUDDASTADT Berlin in the East Side Mall - right next to the exhibition venue. The figurine is suitable as a memento, gift or clear statement in favour of tolerance in everyday life.
