Kreuzberg school receives award from the Bürgerstiftung Berlin

1000 euros in prize money and a Buddy Bear to paint for the ‘World Tour of Tolerance’ at the Gustav Meyer School.

At the Gustav Meyer School in Kreuzberg, a special needs centre for intellectual development, a very special project is on the curriculum this morning: a white Buddy Bear is to be painted and decorated - and the photographer from the Berliner Morgenpost has also announced his attendance. ‘Everyone is really excited and looking forward to it,’ says class teacher Asif Shwartz.
