BERLIN. In figure skating, the skater who scores the most points in the short programme and free skate wins. It's no different at CHAMPIONS, Berlin's vote for Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year. And because Minerva-Fabienne Hase and Nikita Volodin also received by far the most votes here, the stars of the ice are Berlin's Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year 2025. Two further titles go to the women of 1. FC Union Berlin: for the best women's team and, with Ailien Poese, for the best coach. The men's team of the year are the Handball Füchse, who are once again rewarded for a furious year. The winners will be honoured today in front of almost 2,000 guests at the glamorous CHAMPIONS gala in the Estrel Convention Hall.
