Profound Art Saloon

The Shanghai Spring Art Saloon is the city's first significant art saloon. The six-day event showcases nearly 20 exhibitions featuring 60 artists from China, Germany, Austria, Japan and the United States.

About 24 sculptures of Buddy Bear, the recently coined symbol of popular art, are being introduced at the saloon. This time, at the hands of Chinese artists, Buddy will greet visitors in Chinese traditional garb. In addition to modern art, traditional ink-wash paintings are also on display.
