United Buddy Bear Poland

The Buddy Bear designed on behalf of Poland in 2003 looks romantic and playful, inviting the viewer to embark on a journey through Polish mythology and fairy tales, evoked by a landscape filled with powerful colours and forms. In the bear’s home country – during the United Buddy Bears exhibition in Warsaw (spring 2008) – hundreds of thousands of visitors followed this invitation. Now the proceeds from this auction are specifically targeted towards UNICEF in Poland.
 
This bear has visited the following exhibition sites: Berlin 2003, Kitzbühel 2004, Hong Kong 2004, Istanbul 2004, Tokyo 2005, Seoul 2005, Sydney 2006, Berlin 2006, Vienna 2006, Cairo 2007, Jerusalem 2007, Warsaw 2008 and Stuttgart 2008.
